Grimoire D’ Elphen is part of this upcoming and promising new generation of colored stallions. Grimoire D'Elphen is homozygous for tobiano and black color gene. When bred to any color horse will produce a black based color foal. He got an 8.25 out of 10 at free jumping at only 20 months old that shows a beautiful natural jumping movement. He is a 16.3 2016 Selle Francais Stallion.

His sire is Thunder Gesmeray, who is by Limbo, another “foundation stallion” of the colored warmblood world. Balsamine Gesmeray, Thunder’s dam, has an ISO (jumping Index) of 1.50 which put her in the top 20% of the Selle Francais studbook. Thunder Gesmeray is the SF colored stallion with the best dam line with the grade of 9/10.
Grimoire’s dam is Dior d’Elphen. She is by Arnac d’Elphen, who was already competing at 1.35m by the age of 7 years old. He is also sBs approved and WFFS negative.
